1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and GlobalLink Express Inc. ("GlobalLink Express," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile services, and logistics platform (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, submitting a shipment, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use our Services. If you are using our Services on behalf of a business entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and take full responsibility for all activities under your account;
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach;
• Be responsible for all content and shipment information submitted under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are associated with fraudulent or unlawful activity.

4. Our Services

GlobalLink Express provides cross-border logistics services, including package tracking, international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs brokerage. We act as a logistics service provider and may engage third-party carriers and partners to fulfill shipments.

We strive to provide accurate tracking information and estimated delivery times, but such estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather, customs delays, and force majeure events.

5. Shipment Terms

5.1 Your Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipment information (sender/recipient addresses, contents, weight, declared value) is accurate and complete;
• Package items securely to withstand normal handling during transit;
• Comply with all applicable export, import, and customs laws of the origin and destination countries;
• Obtain any required licenses or permits for restricted or regulated goods.

5.2 Delivery

Delivery times are estimates based on service tier and route. We are not liable for delays caused by customs processing, weather, regulatory inspections, or other events outside our control. Undeliverable shipments may be returned to the sender or held at a local facility for pickup.

5.3 Tracking

Tracking information is provided as a convenience and reflects data scanned at various checkpoints. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy of all tracking updates.

6. Prohibited Items

You may not ship any of the following through GlobalLink Express:

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia;
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons;
• Hazardous materials, flammable goods, and radioactive substances;
• Counterfeit goods and items infringing intellectual property rights;
• Perishable goods requiring temperature control (unless using an approved service tier);
• Livestock and live animals;
• Currency, negotiable instruments, and precious stones above the declared value threshold;
• Any item prohibited by the laws of the origin, transit, or destination country.

We reserve the right to refuse, inspect, hold, or dispose of any shipment containing prohibited items, and to report violations to the appropriate authorities.

7. Fees & Payment

Shipping fees are determined by service tier, destination zone, weight (actual or dimensional, whichever is greater), and declared value. Applicable fees are displayed at the time of booking. You agree to pay all charges associated with your shipments, including customs duties, taxes, and surcharges that may apply.

Payments are processed through certified third-party payment gateways. Unpaid balances may result in shipment holds or account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlobalLink Express shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any shipment shall not exceed the greater of (a) the declared value of the shipment, or (b) US$100, unless additional declared value coverage was purchased at the time of shipping.

We are not liable for loss or damage caused by:

• Inadequate packaging by the sender;
• Acts of God, weather, or force majeure events;
• Customs inspections, seizures, or regulatory delays;
• Inaccurate or incomplete shipment information provided by the user;
• Prohibited items submitted for shipment.

9. Claims & Disputes

Claims for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date (or the scheduled delivery date for lost shipments). Claims must include the tracking number, proof of value, and a description of the issue. Claims are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and settlements are issued in accordance with Section 8.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Nagoya, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GlobalLink Express Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use our Services for unlawful purposes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall not apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
